Antonina Shevchenko is an Kyrgyzstani Muaythai fighter from Peru and a mixed martial arts athlete who is a part of UFC. UFC at the flyweight division,, is an Kyrgyzstani. She is the older sister of her fellow UFC fighter and the former UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko's career in combat sports started out in the form of an Muay Thai competitor. Shevchenko debuted on the IFMA World Championship Tournament in 2003. Shevchenko took the title and then defeated Suzane Mller by unanimous vote. Antonina was awarded a Silver Medal in 2007, a bronze Medal in 2008, a gold medal in the year 2011, and in the IFMA Amateure 2016 Muay Tha World Champion. Antonia's professional career began in 2003. She won in 2012 her the WKC K-1 Light Welterweight World Championship In 2016, she won she won the Lion Fight Lightweight Championship and in 2016 the WMC World Championships. Antonina's final fight took place in the Phoenix Fighting Championship against Isa Tidblad Keskikangas. The winner was a an unanimous vote. Antonina Schevchenko began the professional phase of her MMA career in 2002 with an impressive win against Anara Baanova in the KFK Cup of Kyrgystan. She took the fight via TKO after round two and her two subsequent matches were held at the WXF X-Impact World Championships. Shevchenko committed herself to kickboxing as she took a prolonged absence of MMA. She came back to fight in 2017 and faced Anissa Hasdaoui. Shevchenko had the chance to beat Anissa with a unanimous verdict and beat Valerie Domergue on Phoenix FC 4 in 2017. She was a part of the Dana White Contender Series 2018 following her departure from the competition. Shevchenko took on Jaimelene Nievera in Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11, Antonina defeated Nievera by her superior striking abilities at the end of the fight by using knees on the body. After this win, Antonina was able to sign an UFC contract. Antonina Shychenko debuted for the UFC at the Heavy Hitters event of TUF finals, where she faced Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko defeated Roxanne Modeafferi by the unanimous verdict. But, she was unable to win her next fight due to the split decision. Antonina was able to bounce back from the loss, and defeated Lucie Pudilova on UFC on ESPN Covington vs. Lawler via second-round rear-naked choke, and was awarded the fight of the night reward for the bout. Shevchenko won her first three fights but then lost them to Katlyn Cahookagian Andrea Lee and Ariane Lipski. Antonina is currently being knocked out by Casey O'Neill in UFC Fight Night Santos Walker.
