Annabelle Gurwitch
Annabelle Gurwitch is an American comedian, author and television host most recognizable from her stint as hostess on Dinner and a Movie on TBS as well as an activist with environmental issues and secular humanism. Annabelle Gurwitch is a critically acclaimed actress and New York Times Bestselling Author of the memoir Wherever You Go There They Are I'm Seeing You Did an Effort You Say Tomato I Say Shut Up and Get Fired! It was in turn a Showtime Comedy Special. Gurwitch was the longest-running host of TBS's Dinner & a Movie and television viewers remember her memorable appearances on programs including Better Things Boston Legal Seinfeld Dexter Murphy Brown as well as hosting the sustainability series WA$TED which airs on The Planet Green Network. The shows she has appeared on regularly include PBS Newhour Real Time Bill Maher or NPR. She also composes op-eds that can be found in New York Times WSJ The Hollywood Reporter and satires in The New Yorker & McSweeneys. The New York Times has been elated by her stage actor and has included her as part of its annual list critics' Top Ten Performances.
