In 1992, she earned her big break when she was cast in the movie Basic Instinct as a minor character. In the 1990s Gwyneth worked alongside Hugh Grant on Mickey Blue Eyes as well as Julie Andrews for Relative Values. In recent times, she played Dr. Alex Blake (a police procedural-crime drama) in Criminal Minds.
