Ashley Graham is from Lincoln, Nebraska. Growing up with the rest of her siblings, she was often bullied by classmates because of her large legs. At the beginning of her modelling career, she was having trouble getting jobs due to the fact that her physique was quite unique. Graham took on a variety of model offers from catalogs throughout time. But she was constantly told that it would be difficult for her to progress past smaller projects. Fortunately, she was able to prove session casters wrong, and her career progressed quickly. Sally Singer, the editor of "Vogue", spoke with her during 2007. This was her first big breakthrough. Following that, in 2009, she was a guest on "Glamour's" "These Bodies Are Beautiful at Any Size". Graham again made headlines by being featured in Lane Bryant's controversial commercial. It was eventually banned in several countries. The controversy escalated to the point where Graham appeared with Jay Leno on "The Tonight Show." Graham became famous quickly and is now one of the top-respected larger models. Grande was just a child who began singing and acting. She won the role of 13 in the musical Broadway in 2008, and began appearing in minor parts in TV series. The part she played in Victorious the Nickelodeon TV show, in the year 2010 was her first big breakthrough. She appeared as Cat Valentine, a teenager studying at a school for performing arts. Sam & Cat was the spin-off from her sitcom which aired in 2013 after it was removed from the air.
