Alinity Divine
Alinity made an appearance in a lawsuit against Twitch. Erik Estavillo, a Twitch participant from California made a complaint to the civil court for damages of $25 million from Twitch for exposing them to "overly sexually suggestive content from various female streamers" during their use of the site. Dexerto obtained court papers which show that the plaintiff who had previously filed a lawsuit against Microsoft Sony Nintendo Blizzard and Blizzard had filed a formal complaint on the 15th of June. Twitch received an official summons from the court on the 19th of June. Estavillo is, as stated in the Santa Clara Superior Court of California complaint is suffering from a variety of medical issues that require him to depend solely on the internet to entertain himself. He also has obsessive compulsive disorder(OCD) and a sexual addiction. Based on the complaint, Twitch makes these issues more severe. The complaint goes on to identify a variety of female streamers who it believes "continues to show viewers who just want to see users playing video games on Twitch and instead are exposed to sexually addictive material and other content on a regular and frequent basis." Except for Alinity the list includes those who have requested relief. it demands that all streamers named above to be permanently banned from Twitch's TOS and also $25 million dollars "to be split equally between the complainant and all the other Twitch Prime Turbo subscribers" the remainder of which will go to a variety of charities.
