Alicia Machado

Alicia Machado was born Yoseph Alicia Machado in Maracay Venezuela on the 6th of December, 1976. Alicia has a mixed background. Both her parents are both from Cuban descendance. She's been an important participant in the world of film, television and beauty contests for the entirety of her existence. Alicia Machado began her rise to stardom when, at 19, she won the title of Miss Venezuela representing Yaracuy. Her crowning accomplishment came a following year when she won the Miss Universe 1996 title, the fourth Venezuelan who has won the coveted title. In her time as Miss Universe, however, was marred with controversy and criticism from the media due to her weight gain during her tenure. Donald Trump who was the Miss Universe Organization's CEO in the time of her election publicly made fun of the weight gain.
